Massage Hair Oils On the Scalp
The scalp can get awfully dry under a weave which, in turn, will cause your natural hair to become brittle and fall out. To moisturize your scalp, pour a couple of drops of lightweight organic oils into your palm, warm it by rubbing your palms together and gently massage into your scalp.
If your weave is made of human hair, it wouldn’t matter if you get some oil on it as it can easily be washed off. It’s a lot harder to get oil out of synthetic weaves so be very careful not to drop any onto it.
Massage your scalp with oils on alternative nights and before you shampoo it. Shampoos strip your hairs of natural oils; by oiling your hair in advance, you make sure your hair doesn’t become too dry.
Use a Moisturizing Shampoo
Shampoos consist of harmful sulfates and parabens that strip the moisture off your hair and scalp. If you already have a dry scalp, use a sulfate-free shampoo that doesn’t strip your scalp of its natural oils and allows it to retain moisture.
Don’t Make Them Too Tight
If your extensions are causing you to have a headache, then they’re way too tight. Hair extensions are supposed to make you feel good—not fill you with pain.
Tight extensions pull your natural hair, which leads to the weakening of hair follicles and causes hair loss.

Don’t Keep the Weave for Longer than You Should
